| Classes and Journey Circles |
Gerry guides and facilitates a variety of classes based on diverse teachings, traditions, and topics of interest to those present. All classes are experience-based, combining teaching and sharing, plus exercises or experiences that help participants understand and integrate the informaiton for themselves.
Gerry started the first formal shamanic journey circles in Austin in 2003. Since then the number of circles he facilitates has grown, and other circles have been established by current and former students and community members. There are now at least 10 circles in the Austin area per month.
Group clasess offer the incredible ability to tap into the accumulated knowledge and experience of all students. We are all teachers and supporters of each other.The Teacher is not an information-rich talking head, but a facilitator of context of the learning experience and of the amazing collective wisdom of the group.
Several students and graduates of the Spirit Paths™ apprentice program also teach classes and hold events in various venues throughout Austin.
